That Barbra Streisand and James Brolin have initiated plans to adopt a baby. (This story originated in US tabloids and has been repeated in the general print press and even some leading electronic media both here and abroad, our strong denials notwithstanding.)

Quite simply, there is no truth in these reports and never has been. We regret that some press now choose to regard an honest denial as a reason to print a story.
