Yes, I was at this show, and the show the following night. It's hard to
believe that it was three years ago that I experienced my dream come
true. I remember it vividly. The feeling that passed through my body
as I heard the opening notes of Oceans. After my heart started pumping,
it didn't stop until the show was over. When they dug into Go I was
overwhelmed with adrenaline. It was awesome to see the band communicate
on stage and to feel the stage presence that they held. They played the
classics such as Animal, Even Flow, Jeremy, Daughter, and Black. All
the lights were turned on for Alive and the crowd went nuts. Then Eddie
screamed his lungs out during Blood- WOW. An unexpected surprise was
the Neil Diamond act Lighning and Thunder. They sang Forever In Blue
Jeans w/ Eddie. That was pretty cool. To end the show, the boys did a
rendition of porch. I think Eddie was having a hard time resisting the
rafters of the Marcus Ampitheater. Of course that was back in the early
days that he did that stuff. I still think that one day, or maybe one
concert he will do some climbing just like in the old days. Who know.
All I can say is that I hope Pearl Jam comes some where near Wisconsin
this summer ('98), because they are the best live act around. The
improvs, the emotion, the heart they have is unbelievable. Looking
forward to the Yield tour. Thanks guys.

I have been attending concerts for nearly twenty years, and I love that
special kick that comes from seeing a band on stage. Pearl Jam, on this
day, left me in awe. I brought a friend of mine who had always liked them,
but never understood why I had such respect for them, or why I was such a
fan of the music. That night she got it. All I can say is thanks to Pearl
Jam for giving me and your fans this dedication to quality and honesty.

Cross Country Trip: I live in Long Beach CA, and my friend and I had tickets to the San
Diego show in early 95 that was cancelled. We were so bummed that we
bought tickets to fly to Milwaukee and flew out there in July to see PJ.
We had no tickets, very little money and through luck and some good
karma we ended up with tickets and we saw an incredible show that I will
remember for the rest of my life.
By the by, the San Diego show was rescheduled and no one can say that
they missed out. That turned out to be a mind-blowing performance that
left us with nothing but grins.
