It was a frantic start to one of the most intense concerts seen in Australia.

Despite Eddie having a sore throat, the music rocked and we all stood and moshed in shock. Despite the cheers between songs, most were silent. It was quite unusual. It was the mere shock and delight at how good these guys really are. And I think the band appreciated it too - Eddie even said "thanks for being so nice to a bunch of strangers from America".

It was appreciation and respect from both sides. And hence the bond between Australia and Pearl Jam was formed !!!!!

One of the highlights would have to have been Flea playing with the Jam. It was a fitting tribute to the band and the fans to be treated to something so special.
