Well, Well, Well! I would have to say this is one of the coolest shows I have ever seen. Pete opened up on acoustic with Let My Love Open the Door and Pinball Wizard, which set the mood for the evening. He played a plethora of acoustic and electric guitars through the night as well as sitting at the keyboard solo for a few tunes. The fourth tune Pete introduced a special guest, Eddie Vedder! I am a big PJ-head so this blew my head right off of my brain stem! Eddie's demeanor was that of a child in amazement. He was very reserved and I think plain stunned to be on stage with such a legend. Heart to Hold Onto and Tattoo were simply incredible!!! Pete and Eddie's voices intertwining and complementing PERFECTLY on Heart to Hold Onto which is a Ronnie Lane song. (Ronnie passed away the week before.) Tattoo was a real fun tune which I think is an obscure older Who tune. Eddie left after these two songs.

Pete did some real classics through the almost 3 hour show. He also did a solo on piano of Put A Spell On You. I'm A Sensation was incredible. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere was a GAS! The show got incredibly strong at the end starting with Bargain which segued into The Seeker back into Bargain, simply incredible! Then he played the Telecaster with The Kids Are All Right. IT FREAKING ROCKED! Acid Queen and a really funked up My Generation with a real extended jam at the end was hot. Rough Boys was pretty cool (This was the sound check X 3). The ULTIMATE Kicker- the last tune of the set MAGIC BUS with Eddie coming back out! Pete and Eddie were really goofing off on this one, Eddie singing "How much for your magic bus?" and Pete responding, "You can't have it!", and trading lines. They really got off on it for a while! Eddie then was jumping Townshend windmills trying to get Pete to do it. Pete didn't jump but he did throw a couple of windmills there! Three pretty mellow encores comparatively and no Won't Get Fooled Again but who cared at this point! ONCE IN A LIFETIME STUFF!

Peace....
