Lee Dudley (adudley@run):
What can I say that has not already been said before. This is the best band of my (20-30) generation! I drove 4 1/2 hours to see them, and after leaving I would have driven 9. This is the second time I have seen them and they are without a doubt, musically tighter than they have ever been.

The show. Well, I don't think the English vocabulary has enough adjectives but I'll do my best here. If Pearl Jam ever renamed themselves it would have to be "the mike mccready band," for two hours he was pulling some of the best improvisational solos I have ever heard! On Corduroy he used a slide for an incredible effect. He took Even Flow, Alive, Black, and the "behind the back action" of Go to a new level. My compliments Mike. You are definitely one of the best guitar players out there.

The visual images the band had for Given to Fly and Tremor Christ were dazzling. For GTF, the familiar blue clouds rolled behind the band on the backdrop as they plowed through a breath-stopping version, and for TC, the lighting storm shown fit the song perfectly, and gave a whole new "chilling" feel to it.

The set list for the show was really cool. I would have never expected the band to play Footsteps, and a killer version it was. And, I especially appreciated Small Town and Faithfull. We were treated to a Vitalogy-heavy set, and of course the favorites. My only complaint of the show was that I didn't get to hear more from Yield, but that's okay, I'll just have to wait until I can see them again.

One other quick note, I loved it when Eddie said to the crowd: "you guys are the same assholes that were cheering for the dave matthews show last night." My sentiments exactly Ed.

Thanks Ed, Stone, Jeff, Matt, and especially Mike for an incredible performance, and without a doubt, the best show I have ever been to (period).
