What an awesome night!!!

My boyfriend took me to PJ for my birthday. He joined the fan club about 2 years ago so we were in the 25th row-not too bad. This show was pure energy!!! When they launched with Go, I knew it was gonna be an awesome show!!

I saw them two years ago in East Lansing at the Breslin Center and thought they were pretty good, but this Palace show blew me out of the water. They played two of my favs (Corduroy and Better Man) which they didn't in EL. This performance of Better Man was amazing. The energy on stage and the crowd was awesome!!

Eddie was very talkative, saying how Detroit has always supported PJ, then named the smaller places they played, like St. Andrews, Masonic.... Eddie was jumping around and full of life-he was throwin down the mike after fuckin' up!! Mike was bashing his guitar on the ground too!!!

I was only bummed that they didn't play more off Yield (one of my fave CD's) but maybe next time.
