Eddie Villanueva (edvfett@yahoo.com):

This has to be one of Pearl Jam's all-time best shows! It started off to an amazing start. "Hold on to the tread...," Eddie sang and the crowd went wild. I don't think anyone was expecting Oceans. When they finished Eddie asked us if we were ready, of course we were. Then they played an amazing version of Corduroy. Later on Eddie showed us his arm, "These aren't track marks, they're mosquito bites. This next song is dedicated to those who have been bitten by mosquitoes more than fifty times in an hour." Red Mosquito rocked and at the end every one was singing the "if I had known then" part. They played some more songs and then Eddie says, "This one is for all you Hank Williams fans" and then they played Off He Goes. Then he says, "This next song is a true song," and he started playing on his guitar, it was a nice little tune that transformed itself in to the intro to Better Man. The crowd went wild. This time he did add the Save It For Later piece. Insignificance, Nothingman, Even Flow, Go and then he says, "This will be the last depressing song we'll play tonight" and then I recognize the guitar melody and I'm saying to myself "no way, no way" its Parting Ways, my favorite Binaural song.

They take a break and when they come back Eddie starts talking to us. "There was a couple sitting right there looking really bored, but it looks like they left. THANK FUCKING GOD FOR THAT. While we were in the back, I asked the guys,'Did you smell that?' At first it was the smell of weed, then it was a different smell, a disgusting smell, and I thought it was the air because of what Governor Bush let happen to it, but maybe it was those two." The crowd busted out laughing and Pearl Jam busted out Do The Evolution. Later on Pearl Jam did something I never would have expected them to do, they played Footsteps. Oh my god it was beautiful and Eddie played harmonica. They played my favorite song of all time and to think I was this close to not going to the concert. And then I was blown away by what Eddie said next, "She lived on a curb...." CRAZY MARY!!!!! and then to top it all off, Eddie put on a shirt that said "Uncle Eddie" and asked Kelly to turn on the lights and Pearl Jam Rocked us into the Free World.

Even though I went to the concert the night before, I can't say which one was better, I guess you had to be there.
