Definitely, they R U L E. Who? If you just dare ask: of course P E A R L J A M!!!

Proving ONCE again that they are the number one group, they delivered the best performance of the whole three day festival ( which in itself was great too). Giving almost two hours of unbelievable frenzy, craziness and explosion of deep feelings, I surely felt happiest being there with my girlfriend (who bought Binaural right out as it came for my birthday). Before the start, a whole hour of shouting and cheering. From 0830 to 0900, as the band was having a sound check we all exploded: the half hour filled with waves from one to another side of the seats, the lucky ones in the center field rolling back and forth - - -G R E A T.

Than the shouting Exploded as PJ came and said helo. The first tunes delivering a prospect from Yield (MFC, played with great precision) and returning to their early Corduroy (I think Ed wore the shirt under the jacket), they slammed into the new Breakerfall, Gods' Dice and Animal, the whole stadium shouting, me screaming out my lungs. The chill of NAIS gave me the strength to jump, shout and kick to the turbo blast of Dissident and Even Flow. When I heard the first tunes, I could not believbe it but it was ALIVE, and ED's voice was surely alive, proliferating his feelings all aroung to each and every one of us. The great voice again reached my heart w/ Off He Goes and the incredible performance of Better Man. The complete madness was reached by the breathtaking row of slamming and jumping of Once, Lukin (the crowd loosing its balance), Insignificance (the climax of the virtuosity of the whole band, a flow os sound around my head, Ed looking at the moon, at the end howling to it), a great jumper wrongfully anounced as RVmirror and as last of the set Rearviewmirror (Ed slipped the whole second verse, but we sang along, and he produced some incredible sounds while trying to remember the lyrics). Nevermind, they were all great, Mike "the blonde beauty" especialy beeing the most vigorous, jumping around all the time. Ed stood mostly on the mike, concentrating his full strenght on the voice ( I could not believe it, as the two hours rolled, the voice became more and more crystal and stronger.

As they went to rest, the crowd did not. I poured my whole self in trying to call them back and they were, and I just knew, it was real, but not from this universe, yes, I knew it, Andrijana knew it, we all knew it, the intro to BLACK. The best feeling for the song, just we two holding and singing along, waving with the music, a great, long, hard-to-stand-it solo delivered at the end, LOVE being the name of it. The craziness of Spin the Black Circle.. took the crowd high, keeping us all jumping tremoring with DTE, the incredible sound effects produced by Ed at its start. The guitars soothed into Light Years, the whole crowd singing along (as we did from the start), the twinkling of the guitar at the end. United with the band, we enlived Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a SmallTown and the finale with Yellow ledbetter With The Lights On, Mike giving a great, long- lasting, fully-sounded solo at the end, Ed taking photos, giving the one with himself ( next time I must be there to catch it). I think that they would have played more, but the stupid organisers just did not let them.

What to say last, than to hope that what Ed was saying that they wouldn^t come back for some time, will not come true. If that is so, than we will sure got to them. Great.
