The first Katowice concert was for me very special. Pearl Jam gave us a really great show! But the second night was even much more valuable. I woke up at nine and then turned up under the Spodek. I still felt the atmosphere of the last night. There were some fans already, but fewer than yesterday. Me and friend of mine wanted to meet some Pearl Jam members that day, so we were waiting for them at the back of venue. We met there some fans. This day unlike the last one went very fast... Fosa guards started to let us in earlier than yesterday. It worked much efficiently than last night. There wasn't crowd this time so I entered the venue after 10 minutes of waiting. Then my body really started to sense yesterday's climate. Wow! Decidedly there was fewer people than last night. It was rather good, because I hoped that there would be easier to breathe this time. :) I took the standing place in the first row, so I was one of those lucky ones :) All the show time I was standing there - at the front of the Stone Gossard.

Support (Dismemberment Plan) appeared. They were much easy-going than last night. They played rather similar songs like the first night and that's good, because I wanted to hear once again their song called What Do You Want Me To Say? :) I like it very much! Support finished its performance. Drummer threw away his drumsticks. Technical crew of Pearl Jam started clearing the stage before Pearl Jam appearance.

They entered the stage! What a magnificent impression! I even forgot I had seen them last night! I didn't know what happened with me! Ed came out with cigarette. The band started to play beautiful ballad from Ten called Release. Crowd sang together with Ed. Mike received a rose from the crowd which he put it on the amp. Next Pearl Jam played Of The Girl. It sounded great! I had been expecting to hear it live... Words "How he makes his getaway" carried themselves around the venue. I love that song! I looked around me and I saw entirely empty blue sectors of Spodek. Then the band played another Binaural, Sleight Of Hand. Mystical sounds of that song completely filled empty spaces of atmosphere in Spodek that night. At the break between two of those songs, Ed received from audience bunch of flowers. He read the dedication and said "that's from a boy", then he laughed :) Every now and then Ed gathered the band and told them what they will play next. Pearl Jam absolutely changed their planned setlist! They decided to give us another show!

Thin Air... That was the first song which Pearl Jam played on the both Polish concerts. It sounds so sweet and beautiful every time. Insignificance was the second song which was repeated. I love those drums variations, guitar riffs and mortal vocals! Yeah! Then Pearl Jam played another fast Binaural song, Grievance. They also played Corduroy with beautiful vocals line! "I'd rather be with an animal" - we could hear it second time! Then Pearl Jam played us No Code song Hail Hail. State Of Love And Trust was the next song. I always dreamed to experience that song played live! When I heard those opening riffs my eyes shed tears... Audience sang along with Ed! How nice to imagine atmosphere of that night, of that moment! Time for Matt's Binaural composition - Evacuation! Pearl Jam pumped up the volume here! Yeah! Pearl Jam slowed down the tempo of the show and played beautiful ballad from Vs, Daughter. They put there part of Pink Floyd's song Another Brick In The Wall! That was the next time when we sang together with Ed. They finished. I looked attentively at the Ed and I read from his mouths moves that they are going to play Jeremy! And they finally played it! What an experience! At this time Ed put a gasmask (that was the bulldog type) on his head. He looked a little strange :)

Then we (audience) had a room for display our musical talents ;) We started to sing for Pearl Jam song called "Sto lat!". That is traditional Polish "folk" song which we sing at the birthdays and another cheerful ceremonies. It wishes hundred years of life! Pearl Jam seemed to be *really happy*!! Yes, and that was next time when I felt huge tears on my face. A few minutes later we chanted words "dziekujemy" what means in English "thanks". Then Ed answered us "You're welcome" :) I hope all of that sincere sounds we'll hear on the forthcoming live releases from this unique tour.

Pearl Jam continued their performance with I Got Shit. Those drums entrance and trembling vocals. Light Years was the next song! Pearl Jam did not play it first night, so I was sure that they would play it this time. It's very close to me. I adore it! The band also played b-side from Given To Fly single - amazing song called Leatherman! Then they played one of my favourites Yield songs - In Hiding. I always wanted to hear live those awesome Mike solos. Mhmmm... I still have it in my ears! They finished and then Ed said "this song is about friendship, when you have asshole as a friend" (or something like that). Pearl Jam completely realized my dreams! They played Off He Goes! When I heard this miraculous guitar sound and awesome vocal, I went into a peculiar trance of one of the most beautiful melodies and words. Next Pearl Jam played Vs song Dissident with exquisite Mike beginning solo. Yeah! After Dissident Ed started playing intro of MFC. It went very fast... Pearl Jam once again returned to the No Code. They played hard piece called Habit! And then Alive... One more time I couldn't stop crying.

Pearl Jam left the stage. Audience chanted "Pearl Jam, Pearl Jam"... They're back. Stone caught bass, Jeff brought guitar... I was a little puzzled! But while Ed took his harmonica I knew what is going on! They started to play Smile! Yes! Audience sang along with Ed. Miraculous voice of guitars. Beautiful. And then... Awesome beginning sounds of Immortality... Crowd and the band was the one, complete matter. At the end of the song, Matt gave us a show of his awesome drums abilities!

Black. Melody. Singing. Awesome experience. Next Ed caught his guitar and then tested it on beginning Leaving Here riffs and then Pearl Jam played that song entirely. Stone and Jeff were there very active on the back vocals ["ohhhhyeeee" :)]. Later the band played us beautiful ballad Soldier Of Love... They were very nice surprised when at the end of the song we sang "cha cha cha" ;) They laughed. That was very nice :) Last Exit from Vitalogy was the next song... For me it sounded so dark. I still don't know why. Anyhow it was great! What happened next? Heh... Ed said something like "give us a second, we'll negotiate what we'll play next...". He brought his ukulele and held it behind his back. Then he said something like "this is a small instrument. And I am a small human". He tuned it and then pointed his mouth, and give us a sign to be quiet. Heh... Nobody spoke. There was complete silence. It was so mystical feeling... My body once again covered chills. Wonderful atmosphere!

Time for last song. It was unique version of Yellow Ledbetter. Mike solos were really awesome! When Stone finished his role, he sat at the loudspeaker and was watching what Mike is doing! Yeah! He gave us real show! I will not forget this wonderful, long ending solo...

I love that band!

Pearl Jam ended the show something about 11:40 PM. Ed said "goodnight". All of the band members waved to us and then left the scene. Ed as usual brought his camera and shot a photo of the first rows. Probably I am on the one of them. Show was unique. For me it was even better than the first one! We had pleasure to hear 30 songs that night (probably that was the 2nd longest PJ concert in the band history). That's absolute record on this wonderful tour. Spodek was filled by miraculous atmosphere that night. Pearl Jam and audience were connected by specific bonds. I won't forget that night. That was the second of two most beautiful days of my lifetime. My memories will be alive forever.

Thanks again Pearl Jam!
