Just got home from the best pearl jam concert I have ever been to. Tonight was really something special. I had floor seats right in front of Eddie so I knew I was really in for a show. The band opened up with Sometimes which has rarely been played as an opener. From there it was straight into go and my fav song LAST EXIT. I was really happy to hear Cropduster as I really like it, as well as 1/2 full. Light Years as well as Off He Goes was truly a gift from heaven as I love these songs and to hear them live back to back was surreal. Once and Blood were rarities and sung with the same intensity as heard on the albums and when they were first performed live. Eddie brought out his ukelele for Soon Forget and he forgot the chords so it was stopped a few times while he worked them out again but eventually he finished the song and it was amazing to hear it in such a large atmosphere. Small Town was also unbelievable and Yellow Ledbetter was the perfect closer as the lights were turned on and the crowd sung along with Ed. As Mike closed the show all eyes were on him and he really proved that he is one of a kind. Both Eddie and Mike seemed less energetic than the Tuesday night show but I really enjoyed this night more. Perhaps because of my seats.

I was really hoping they would play LEATHERMAN but it was not to be. Perhaps tomorrow night they will. After the show I waited outside the backstage area where the band walks out. There were a lot of dedicated fans also waiting. Mike and Matt left pretty early but we waited one and a half hours for Ed to come out. But it was worth the wait as he came out with Boom and shook people's hands and said THANK YOU. When Ed shook my hand he looked straight at me and he said thank you. I said EDDIE, THANK YOU and I showed him my THE WHO T-shirt to which he said THAT'S A GOOD SHIRT. It was such an honour to meet Eddie and Pearl Jam are truly the best band in the world.

My life is complete now. Cant wait until tomorrow night and Pearl Jam please come back to our shores soon, I will be there once more.
