Well, put simply, it was AMAZING!!! I turned up 4 hours before the show started too collect my Ten Club Tickets, I couldn't believe I had front row seats right in front of where Mike McCready would be standing.

As the band finally took the stage at 9pm local time the crowd went into a buzz everyone on the ground floor stood up so did I and hanging over the barrier I yelled at Mike saying 'MIKEY' and he looked at me and gave me a wave then the band opened with 'Long Road' then 'Save You' came second, a favourite of mine off there new album followed by 'God's Dice' then the next half hour or so of songs was absolutely BRILLIANT!!! The 4th song of the night came 'Corduroy' then 'Given To Fly' this really got the crowd going, then came my all time favourite Pearl Jam song 'Even Flow' this got the crowd into a frenzy, as soon as Jeff strapped on that Fretless the hairs on my neck stood up then hearing Matt hit the cymbols 3 times confirmed that it was 'Even Flow' then came the guitar solo Mike taking his usual position right at the edge of the stage it was made even better by the fact that MIke was literally 3 metres away from me during the whole solo and I noticed Eddie at the start of the solo pulled a packet of cigarettes out of his pocket and lit up a smoke anyway the solo really satisfied the crowd it seemed too go on forever I was amazed!!! Then what seemed like an eternity Mike finally walked towards the middle shaking his head as if too suggest he has had enough so then Stone lead them out of the solo, I'm a big fan of this song and I thought it was a very good version this performance.

The next 2 songs were 'Get right' and 'Cropduster' then I saw Jeff strap on his Black 12 string Hammer and I knew immediately that it was 'Jeremy' and I was right, once again I'm a huge fan of this song right at the beginning of the song Eddie said he wanted help too sing it, then towards the end of the song Eddie would stop singing and point the mic towards the crowd who were singing along with him this was so cool. I can't remember at what stage during the concert but Eddie referred to the Burswood Dome as the Hindenburg and that there was a similiar place in Seattle and that it had been demolished and he also said that they were going too 'pop' it there was a few laughs after hearing that. Too end the set they played 'Go' what a cool song too end a set this really rocked and it was loud.

They came on for an encore and Eddie started too talk about Ningaloo Reef then after a couple of minutes of this speech they started the first encore with 'Do the Evolution' this song was amazing tonight as were most of them expect for the fact when Stone started the song off the sound coming out of his amp was muffled and Stone with a confused look on his face turned his head towards his amp and his guitar tech came running on and flicked a switch next came 'Betterman' which is always a crowd favourite then came 'Daughter' which at this stage I thought that they weren't going too play it then during the long outro/Improvisation Eddie was singing 'Sey Hey' then he would point the mic at the crowd and the crowd would repeat him this went on for 5 minutes, during this the crowd was really into it singing at the top of there voices repeating Eddie's 'Say Hey' then came 'Crazy Mary' what a cool song then towards the end of the song Eddie with his Bottle of wine which he was drinking through the night passed it too the front row and the crowd was passing it along and I managed too get a drink, that was so cool considering 30 seconds earlier Eddie was drinking from it.

Then the second encore started but only Eddie was onstage then came Mark Seymour which was a surprise and with a single spotlight shining down on them sung 'Throw your arms around me' this was excellent. As the show was winding up the other members of Pearl Jam came back on and I thought they would end with either 'Yellow Ledbetter' 'Rockin' the Free World' or Baba O' Riley' then came 'Alive' which took me completely by surprise and I think it took the whole crowd by surprise as well, after hearing that first note from Stone the crowd went absolutely WILD no one was expecting that too be played but then again that's Pearl Jam, this was definitely a highlight of the show and what a way too finish a show, at the beginning of the song Eddie also asked Kealy too turn the house lights on and just before the first chorus of 'Alive' Eddie looking in my direction and me hanging over the barrier I waved at Eddie and he waved back while singing. To finish the show off they played 'Fortunate Son' a cover originally done by Creedence and with Johnny Marr on Guitar it sounded cool.

Well, I had waited 5 years for this night since I last saw them in 1998 and it was absolutely brilliant what a fantastic show, getting a wave from both Mike and Eddie sitting in the very front row right in front of MIke getting 3 picks MIke through into the crowd and getting a drink of Eddie's bottle of wine made it one experience I'll never forget. I don't know what song it was but it was plain clear that Mike hit the wrong chord this was so obvious he just had a grin on his face and so did I. All 5 of them were full of energy Mike and Eddie were jumping around a lot through out the night and Stone giving us his little shuffle of his feet as he usually does Jeff looked a little tired but gave a great performance on bass and Matt again giving another great performance. To sum it up what a fantastic show please come back soon Pearl Jam we will miss you, thanks again.
