Well, this was my first Pearl Jam show and was everything I expected. They opened with Love Boat Captain. Wasn't expecting this, but a solid version. Then Corduroy. Everyone went wild screaming most of the time. Ed changed one line to "can't buy want I want because it's peace" Then into Save You, which was great as usual. Hail, Hail was nice and I was surprised to see Grievance. Another line change to "I want my freedom of speech" Small Town was next, everyone singing along. Mike was all over Even Flow and Half Full. Then Ed got his acoustic and I new it was Thumbing My Way. They attempted You Are a couple of times but Stone had some technical problems and we never got to hear it (the only disappointment of the night) They went straight into I Am Mine and then Insignificance. Then Ed introduced Glorified G as another song from the PJ catalogue that dealt with weaponry. I was really glad to hear the best version of Present Tense ever. Then Animal and State, which they haven't played as often on this tour. They closed the main set with Blood, and I didn't have much of a voice left.

When they came back, Ed said that they were going to make it up as they go along, and then they played CROWN OF THORNS. I believe this was the third time they have ever played it, and Brendan O'Brien was on keyboards. Then Black with the crowd singing the entire ending. As they started Alive, I think Stone messed up, but played a short little improve and went right back into it, making it that much better. I was hoping so bad to hear Once and Footsteps next, but we got Porch instead. Nice long middle jam and then Ed brought 5 guys on stage with Bush masks on. He introduced each of them as his good friend, George Bush Jr. Then he said he needed support, so they picked him up and held him as he sang the last chorus.

Ed came out with as acoustic and a harmonica for the second encore, and it was You've Got To Hide Your Love Away. Then Crazy Mary and Boom had an awesome solo. Baba O'Riley was greatest part of the night, followed by Yellow Ledbetter. I don't think we could have asked for a much better show.

Incredible! Simply Amazing! That's the best way I know to describe tonight's concert in Atlanta.

Got in the Ten Club line about 10:30 AM to pick up my tickets. Definitely worth the 5 hour wait and sunburn I got in order to obtain 4th row center fan club tickets. Thanks so much Ten Club for continually providing us fans with the best possible seats to every show! Now onto the concert!

It was Sparta's first night as the opening band, and they played a pretty rockin' set to get everybody warmed up.

Pearl Jam's setlist was awesome! They came out and opened with Love Boat Captain, which is my current favorite track on Riot Act. Then a few fast ones to really get the crowd energy flowing. They even threw in a couple songs that are rarely played live like Glorified G and Present Tense. Then closing the main set with Blood was perfect.

With the crowd pleading for more, Eddie came out and said they were just gonna make it up as they went along. They went straight into Crown of Thorns, which was a wonderful surprise. The first encore ended with 3 great songs from Ten: Black, Alive, and Porch. Eddie came back out and played Hide Your Love Away solo. And with Crazy Mary, Baba O'Riley, and Yellow Ledbetter to end the night, this may have been the best setlist in quite some time. I know it was my favorite show out of the 5 Pearl Jam concerts I've attended.

It's kind of sad in the fact that this is the last time I'll get to see them on this tour, but at least I can buy the bootlegs and experience the rest of the tour that way. And I took several pics as well. Thanks again Pearl Jam and Ten Club for making the Atlanta show the best one I've ever been to! Catch you on the flip side!
