Hi, I just wanted to say this has been the most exciting and the most energetic show I've been to in my entire life. First off I would like to thank all the crew members and all the people who work at the Ten Club in making all of this possible. Without your dedicated hard work I wouldn't have been there and wouldn't have had these great tickets.
The day started kinda bad...we were late. I mean pretty late, with all those people standing in line... But once inside all my worries disappeared after the Buzzcocks it was Showtime!
They started with Long Road which I find to be one of the best songs they can start a show with. And then straight into Go, Save You, Ghost.....These excellent tunes just couldn't stop coming at you. All those lights, and that hyped up crowd.
At the 1st encore Eddie came out and sang Arc. I just can stop loving that song. Well my dream came true.....This was kinda like Pearl Jam resurrection. Tears almost came to my eyes. This is the only band I know of, that can make me feel that way. Just a special moment. With all those fans looking in that bright white light coming from above down onto Eddie.
They also played in improv bit which I really loved, but just couldn't hear the words right. Driven to tears was a big surprise, I know they played it a couple of times this year, but I never would've thought they would play it tonight.
Well, I could just keep on going. But I just want to say. Thanks Jeff Mike Eddie Stone and Matt for this wonderful show. I was looking at your photo album before the show, and you guys are lucky to be livin' your dream. And that lifestyle...wooooow! Well, thanks again to everyone who made all of this possible, can't wait to hear the bootleg and especially to see the DVD. Hope Whishlist make it on there. It was one of my best songs of the whole night.
Thanks again!
See you guys soon.
All you need is love!
P.S. We love ya here in Montreal, you should play 2 shows in a row :) I'd be there

It started in Albany, then Toronto and ended yesterday night in Montreal, but I have to say Montreal was the most solid set list. "Present Tense," "off he goes" and "you are" were just amazing, the crowd greeted those songs with the loudest cheers I have ever heard. Each and every one in the bell centre was part of the songs whether it came to singing the first few parts of Better Man or to raise their hands in V for Jeremy.
Eddie was energetic as usual and before the 1st encore somebody tossed the maple leaf on the stage which he tied to the mike stand and left. He came back for the encore wrapped the flag around his waist and crowd welcomed that by chanting "Eddie, Eddie." "Arc" sounded out of this world especially cause of the lighting. Black had the lighters lite up and everybody singing along like they deserved to hear PJ play it....
Before starting the 2nd encore Ed goes "I just wanna make sure you guys know that no member of the band or crew will ever order Freedom Fries." He lives up the expectation to make the crowd go nuts!! This was followed by a spotlight on Ed singing "Soon Forget" then the band turned around to acknowledge the crowd behind the stage with "Last Kiss." Mike was just amazing especially the "alive" solo it sounded unreal. 'Fuckin Up" was unbelievable live and the extended jam at the end was awesome, they just kept going....
Thanks to Pearl Jam and hope Montreal or Toronto is part of the 12 cities PJ is hittin next year....ohh and the rumors about the band playing all their songs in the 3 shows at Boston is true...I heard it from the man himself!!!

What an amazing show! 30 songs for approximately 2h35min! Thanks again to my dear friends at the 10 club... I got 5th row floor seats. One word can describe this show: Intensity! I saw PJ at every Montreal shows ... and at other venues too ... but this was the most amazing show ever! The band was in a great mood ... lot of energy ... what can I say more!... Stone was hot.... Eddie was magic... Mike was incredible ... and Matt... Holly macaroni! ... Woo Hoo! ... he was hot, magic and incredible ... he was my 1st star of the night!
When PJ comes to Montreal, there's always a synergy with the fans ... but tonight it was more than that ... we sang all the songs and could easily replace Eddie at any time ... and they appreciated that ... giving us a 30 song show ... plus a little bonus at the start... Driftin'!
Again...an amazing show! Highlights? ... tough.... lets say Rearviewmirror... and Wishlist... those songs were superb ... with the crowd and all ... Blood was also a smashing one!
See ya in 2 years PJ!

Hi buddies,
I was there, June 29th at the Montréal venue. I saw their last 3 shows down at Montréal and let me tell you that this gig kicks the ass of any show made before. First, the tickets which I bought via the Fan Club were damn good. I was sitting near the 12th row right in front of the stage.
Oh yeah by the way, I was the guy with the cotton-RVM-THANX-thing. I want to give my apology to the folks around and behind me. I know I was taking a lot of place with that song-begging-shit. But what can I say since the crowd was so into it. I mean, well.. there was simply no way to shout: "Please, play RearViewMirror for me thanx!" Anyway, they made my day by playing it! I was dreaming awake… I couldn't help myself so I went for a quick dance in the hallway. Guys thank you very much!

What else, f$ck my English cause there's so many things I would like to say. The lights guys did an awesome job, the sound was so great, the crowd was totally crazy and the band was enjoying it all! Whoaa! For everyone that couldn't make it to the show, do yourself a favor and buy the live cd! Watch out for the duo Eddie and the crowd singing Jeremy, Better Man and Alive. So many twisting thoughts that spin. shhh… Anyhow, I hope they'll put the solo pre-ouverture performance of Eddie singing the sweat "Driftin " on the live cd.
One last thing, I will share for free some pictures I took during that special night with anyone who asks me via email (christianvivier AT hotmail.com)
Montréal, June 29th, I will remember.
