The Masters of Jam will be gracing us with yet another album very soon. Pearl Jam recently spent four days in a Chicago studio recording for their as-yet-untitled fourth album. It's not completed yet so they'll soon be returning to the studio to lay down additional tracks. They're still planning to RELEASE it by the end of the year...but they're not going to RELEASE it until it's finished! That means be patient. That's soooo hard!Left The Porch...

Jack, Jeff, Stone, and Mike are now back from their visit across the OCEANs backing up Neil Young on the MirrorBall tour while Eddie stayed stateside. Pearl Jam's previously cancelled U.S. summer shows have been rescheduled for:- Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Phoenix, AZ
- Thursday, Sept. 14 in Las Cruces, NM
- Saturday, Sept. 16 in Austin, TX
- Sunday, Sept. 17 in New Orleans, LA

The word we're getting now is that Pearl Jam will be announcing new show dates soon and East Coasters will get to see PJ soon! We're sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for more word! There are no current plans to visit the United Kingdom but we'll let you know as soon as we know.
Why Go out and get the Mia Zapata tribute Home Alive compilation? Because proceeds from that album will benefit a good cause. Home Alive is the women's self-defense project for the Home Alive organization that Eddie talked about on Self Pollution radio. Pearl Jam's already-recorded contribution will be a song calledLeaving Here. Other contributing artists include SoundGarden, Joan Jett and L7 among others. It will have some amazing spoken word pieces and will be Released this winter.
PEARL Rumor: Pearl Jam will be backing Neil Young at this year's Farm Aid festival. PEARL Rumor: I heard Kelly Curtis did an interview on "Sound Opinions" radio program in Chicago in 1994 and said the Justice Department approached Pearl Jam 1st, about Ticketmaster, and the guys decided then to take a stand.
