Off They Go...Pearl Jam's going on the road and so are their fans! We'd like to take a moment to wish everyone a safe, happy and jammy trip. We can't wait to read about your rockin' experiences when you get back. The fall tour officially kicks off in Seattle and then it's off to the Big Apple for PJ. Yes, on September 20th Pearl Jam will be on The Late Show with David Letterman! No word on whether the guys will perform any stupid human tricks, but we hear some ticket scalpers will appear simply as stupid humans, no tricks. Just kidding...If you've registered for the online waiting list at the FT&T web site, you'll notice that there are now some tickets available for a few U.S. shows. To be eligible for these tickets you must sign up on the list. FT&T will call you if there are still tickets available. Next Best Thing...For those who won't be able to see PJ this time around there's always the next best thing...taped live shows. There'll be a lot of shows to trade for this year & don't forget to work a trade for those No Code cards in the deal. AUDIO RECORDING ONLY of the shows is allowed - don't forget those extra batteries. All of the venues have been notified about the Audio Taping Policy. Pearl Jam and the crew work hard to get the message out but it takes time for the venues to notify their staff. If you plan on bringing a tape recorder, you may want to call or write the venue ahead of time to remind them and/or ease your mind. Security personnel are still used to confiscating tape recorders since they usually aren't allowed.Off They Go Again!Hmmmm. Taped shows aren't good enough, huh? Well then, how about more live shows! Pearl Jam's going to be appearing at this year's Bridge School Benefit in California and they still have plans to do some shows this winter...possibly in South America, Mexico, Australia... Of course then there's always the... Spring Shows. The West Coast and the Midwest will have something to look forward to besides spring cleaning. Plans are being made for '97 and it's looking like Pearl Jam will be headed for places like Chicago, St. Louis. Kansas, Denver, Texas...time will tell fershure.~ Q&A ~ Q&A ~ Q&A ~Q: If spot checking of I.D. will be done at shows, what happens if I gave my ticket away or sold it at face value to another fan club member because I couldn't make it? Will I be thrown out of the fan club?A: If we find out that they were sold for more than face value.
Q: What if I purchase 2 tickets (1 for me and 1 for a friend) and we won't be meeting up till we get in the venue. Will my friend not get in because the name on the ticket is mine?
Q: How is it possible to get tickets when all of their shows sell out in 10 minutes or less?
Q: What happened with the Toledo fan club tickets? Is there anything the band would like to say to their fans about fan club members not getting tickets because not enough were set aside?
Q: Will any of the upcoming concerts be broadcast on the radio?
Q: Will Pearl Jam be bringing "keys" to play on this tour since there are songs with piano parts on No Code?

PEARL Rumor: After Mike's solo of Little Wing/Maggot Brain in Milwaukee, WI he was so exhausted from the tour that he had to be taken to a nearby hospital.
