• 9/8/98 - 6:00 pm EDT & 9/10/98 - 4:30 pm EDT. -- MTV Ultra Sound: Video Music Awards 2 hour special has a short clip from Pearl Jam's appearance with Neil Young in 1993 and the story behind it.
• 9/10/98 - 5:30 pm EDT. & 9/11/98 at 3:00 am EDT. -- CNN's Showbiz Today looks at the state of music videos, with comments from Stone Gossard and others.
• 9/12/98 - (CANCELLED) CNN has World Beat segments on Pearl Jam and others.

9/3/98 - Pearl Jam, R.E.M. and Chris Cornell are requesting a meeting with Vice-President Al Gore to discuss the protection of wilderness lands. The Washington Wilderness Coalition has additional helpful information along with the press release and the letter to the Vice-President.

8/26/98 - Per recent rumors: If you're concerned about going to a Pearl Jam show with a mullet haircut...fear not! What Detroit fans recently witnessed was Ed Scissorhands giving a "crew" cut to Kevin, a long-time member of the crew. All future mulleteers attending shows should be safe, we think... ;)

8/18/98 - Breakthrough Video on MTV: Sunday's the day! The Pearl Jam/Todd McFarlane animated video for Do The Evolution will be shown on 120 minutes this Sunday (8/23). Check your local listings. (DTE clip here)
