Pearl Jam's next single from Binaural is Light Years and will be in stores in the U.S. on July 18th. The radio add date is July 4th but if you've been listening, you're probably hearing it already. The two b-sides will be live versions of Soon Forget and Grievance from the May 10th Bellingham show.
There are rumors that Pearl Jam are confirmed for Rock in Rio in Brazil and will play Big Day Out in Australia. Those rumors are not true, sorry. Nothing has been decided yet and they are not confirmed. Near the end of the U.S. Tour, they'll talk and decide about possible trips to Australia and South America in early 2001. That's where it stands right now. We'll be sure to post any definite changes.
June 17 - There were some very, very special moments in the recently added Katowice show last night...the fans sang to Pearl Jam. Don't miss this wonderful show report in Set Lists and Fanviews.
June 9 - Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, June 17th for the second show at West Palm Beach on August 10th.
June 9 - There's a hot rumor that MTV Europe will broadcast Pearl Jam's set live from the "Rock am Ring" festival tonight. That one is false...it won't be on tonight but next week, look for highlights from the festival...including 30 minutes of Pearl Jam.
June 4 - Announcement: Look soon for Pearl Jam live bootlegs on two CD-sets. They'll be complete shows from each concert on the current European tour. These multi-track recordings will be mixed by Brett Eliason and available in August at www.tenclub.net and www.pearljam.com and thereafter in retail stores.
June 1 - Keeping in Touch: If you haven't seen Pearl Jam live yet or even if you have, catch a glimpse of the current tour with the guys' very first video clip from Europe. See Pearl Jam Live. There will be more to come!
May 29 - Tour Update: Because of permits and paperwork problems, the Budapest show has been cancelled. We're sorry about that. There has now been a second show added in Katowice, Poland at the Spodek on the 16th.
May 28 - Reminder: Don't forget that Pearl Jam's April 12th appearance on David Letterman will be on again this Wednesday, May 31 at 11:35 pm EDT on CBS. Just click on PJ Events on the sidebar to the left for this and other listings.
May 20 - It went so well that a second show has been added for Houston. For ticket info, see North American Tour List.
May 19 - - Remember, if you enter at the Rumor Pit, you could be missing something. It's best to enter at http://www.sonymusic.com/artists/PearlJam/ and click on What's New. That will direct you to site updates...like today's. :) Thanks!
May 17 - Yoohooo...if you could pull yourselves away from Binaural for a moment like we did, we have a Euro-update for you:
- The Vandals (Joe Escalante, Warren Fitzgerald, Josh Freese, Dave Quackenbush) will open for Pearl Jam on the European Tour from May 23-26 and June 1-8. To find out more about the Vandals check out their website ruled by Apes at www.vandals.com
- Pearl Jam are still thinking about broadcasting a show on radio from Europe. No news yet on which show it might be if it happens.
- Rumors that are not true... Gas Huffer or Chris Cornell will not be opening for Pearl Jam in Europe.

This is the first showing of the works of the Ames Bros and will include much of the amazing work they have done for Pearl Jam (posters, album cover art, etc.) as well as all of the other cool stuff that they have been doing. The members of the Ames Team will be on had to hang with those who attend the opening night artist reception on Thursday June 29th. Please, proper ID for 21 and over (it is a bar you know). Admission is free. A splendid time will be had, and if all else fails, you can play pool and play some tunes on their very cool jukebox. May 12 - Please note the new on-sale dates for Memphis and Las Vegas and the added date for Atlanta in the North American Tour List.
May 11 - The actual chat link for the May 15 Pearl Jam Chat at 9 p.m. Eastern Time/ 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday will be http://pearljam.lycos.com. From now through June 9, you'll be able to enter a contest to win a trip to see Pearl Jam live in concert. May 5 - If you missed getting tickets for the first two nights of the Jones Beach shows, there's another opportunity for tix because it did roll into the third show. Tix are on sale now and it has now been added to the North American Tour List.
May 4 - The rumors have been rampant...posters have been spreading the word...and we've been getting lots of mail. We're happy to confirm that the answer is....Yes, it's true. :) They didn't think they were going to make the date at first but now Binaural will be released in New Zealand on May 15th.
