No matter what we say it will never be enough or feel completely right because nine beautiful lives are gone. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the nine dear ones lost at Roskilde. Life is so fragile yet we sometimes forget this until faced with a terrible tragedy. Where to begin, how to pick up the pieces and go on is different for everyone. The outpouring of love and support from the Jamily has been beautiful and amazingly powerful in its efforts to begin healing. Everyone gathering together expressing condolences, sympathy, offering support and prayers has touched lives all across the internet and beyond. With every day that passes, we share with you in carrying on the memory of our nine Jamily members; they are no longer with us but their spirit remains. To everyone who has been joined together through this tragedy, you are in our thoughts and prayers daily as we take one small step forward at a time, lives forever changed. Love, Benefit Fund... The beautiful folks at Rat Sound Systems are in the process of setting up a benefit fund in response to the tragedy at Roskilde. Details will be available in the upcoming weeks so please check the Rat Sound website at ratsound.com or write to Karrie at Xrat@aol.com. Pearl Jam Live Bootlegs... Thank you for the many questions concerning the upcoming live CDs. Here are the details that interested you the most. As announced on June 4th, CD sets of the shows from the European leg of the 2000 tour will be made available through the Ten Club, (http://www.tenclub.net and http://www.pearljam.com/) and in retail stores. Things are running a little behind right now but the thinking is that the CDs will hopefully be available in late August. Each two-CD set, will be about $10.98 through the Ten Club. If you choose, you'll be able to purchase the entire series at once at the regular price; there's no extra discount for getting them all at once. The in-between song banter of the band will be included, but Eddie's solo sets before the opening acts will not be a part of the CD sets. The shows that were recorded at festivals, i.e., Pinkpop, Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, will also be included in the collection. After the North American tour legs are finished, yes, it is likely that those shows will be made available as well. Reminders...

~Q&A~Q&A~Q&A~Q&A~Q: Will Eddie still be appearing on the West Memphis 3 benefit album? His name is no longer listed on an Aces-Eights.com site update. The rumor was he'd be doing a song with the Supersuckers.
Q: I enjoyed watching the mpeg clips from the European gigs you have on the website. The clips look quite professionally filmed, and I was wondering whether there are any plans to release a video of the gigs?
Q: Will I be able to buy the Hamburg show in a German store? It would be sad if I still had to order it by mail because I have no credit card. I'm still going to school.
Q: How does the band feel about this: Will it be ok for us to copy and trade the official bootleg CDs with other fans after we buy them like we did when trading our own tapes?
