September 26, 2000 - Today's the release day for the 25 EuroBoot CDs if you're planning on heading to the local record store!! If you'd like to order anything and you prefer ordering online, you can find the 25 live European shows listed at tenclub.net for an extremely nice anti-bootlegger rate for each 2 CD set. Details of each show are in the tour reports in Set Lists and Fanviews. September 24, 2000 - Is everyone registered to vote? The deadlines are nearing. Last night Eddie opened for Ralph Nader...see Echoes for more. September 19, 2000 - Concert Added: Mark your calendars... Friday, October 27th, Pearl Jam will play the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, September 23rd. See you there! September 18, 2000 - October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To show their support and help raise awareness for an important cause, this year Pearl Jam donated an animation cell from their Do The Evolution video for raffle to The Bra Show fundraising efforts. Good luck if you bid on the many offered items. Your support will be appreciated. September 13, 2000 - Pearl Jam's Bootlegs of 25 live shows from the European leg of the 2000 tour will be available in stores in the U.S. on September 26th. Please check the Discography in Music for the disc details and links. September 9, 2000 - Tickets for the Seattle show are on sale now. It wasn't a definite date but since it went so well this morning, the Seattle appearance has now rolled into a second show on November 6th. August 31, 2000 - Pearl Jam's Seattle Show: The details are becoming clearer! Here we go... Pearl Jam will be appearing at the Key Arena on November 5th in Seattle. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, September 9th at 9am Pacific Time. They'll be $30 plus applicable service charges and available through Ticketmaster. The concert is a benefit show for a host of hometown charities and also some national charities. Please also see the Tour List for additional details and links. August 27, 2000 - Helpful Concert Info for Jammers: You'll be able to bring small beach towels and/or ponchos to keep your bum dry in the lawn seating area at Pearl Jam shows. For safety reasons, blankets will not allowed into the shows. Unfortunately, some people have been using them as trampolines, resulting in injuries. We don't want anyone injured. Sorry for any inconvenience. Have a great time at the shows! August 23, 2000 - If you're planning on going to the newly added Pearl Jam shows in Sacramento (Oct. 30) or Portland (Nov. 2), tickets go on sale Saturday morning. Please note that the Portland ticket sale has been moved to 10am now. August 22, 2000 - If you're in the K-ROCK broadcast area for WXRK radio at 92.3 FM in New York, you'll be able to hear the live broadcast of Pearl Jam's August 24th appearance at Jones Beach on Thursday! :) August 19, 2000 - Have you had a chance yet to visit the totally killer and redesigned Ten Club site yet? At the moment, we have all the volunteers we'll need to handle the shortage. Needed volunteers will be contacted. Remember, unless you are contacted prior to the show, you are not a volunteer. You need to receive a confirmation call or e-mail from our voter registration coordinator before arriving at the venue. Thank you again for your response! August 17, 2000 A Call To Action: We need our fans help. (NOW ENDED 8/18/00) Dear Friends, As you know, this is a big election year and we want to get as many people out to the polls as possible in November. Some of you may be aware that as part of our US Tour, we are participating in voter registration. We are looking for serious volunteers who would be willing to come to the shows and help register voters. We would need you to work with our staff from approximately 5:30-8:30 to register potential voters before the concert begins. In return, we will guarantee you one ticket. People interested in participating should send their name, home phone number, e-mail address, city and date of the show you can work, and any other pertinent info to DigitalKat and OfTheSea so that we can contact you. August 15, 2000 - Here's a copy of yesterday's press release regarding Pearl Jam's meeting with the Roskilde police. August 2, 2000 - Pearl Jam releases new statement to the press: Pearl Jam Releases Full Text of Letter Written By Roskilde Police Department Commissioner Kornerup August 1, 2000 - There is an erroneous report in the media today (NME and VH1) regarding the upcoming bootleg CD series: Both NME and VHI reported that Pearl Jam would release a bootleg CD of the Roskilde show. This is incorrect (not to mention thoughtless and offensive). To repeat from the July 28th update below, the released shows on the bootleg CDs will be from May 23 to June 29th inclusive. That means NO Roskilde. The releases will also not include the Bellingham and Vancouver shows. May 23 - June 29 shows only. July 29, 2000 - Ten Club Members who ordered tickets through the fan club, please see the Ten Club Update for helpful info on those confirmations and getting your tickets the day of the show...and more from the Ten Club. July 28, 2000 - If you've been waiting until the schedule is set to start your planning, the time is upon us. Pearl Jam's live bootleg series of the European shows is due September 5th through the Ten Club at www.tenclub.net and www.pearljam.com. Two weeks later they will be available in stores.
