| Roskilde Relief Fund | Rat Sound Systems | Roskilde Relief Update for the week of July 31, 2000 We are still working hard on locating the injured. It is a difficult and time consuming task! We have received a few replies. They thank all of you for wanting to help, but at this time they are declining donations, feeling the money can be put to a better use elsewhere! In light of that our energies have started to shift. We have spent hours researching groups that promote concert safety and at this time we have not found one that we feel is really doing something positive. So where does that leave us? We have felt that maybe we took on too much, that maybe we should just let it go, but then we read through all of your emails and we know that we must do something. You have sent emails full of love and support. We have received some great ideas and have been offered services that we never thought possible. So we have decided to continue on! What direction and where we are headed, we are not quite sure! There are many issues to be addressed and we must determine what the best course of action is. Obviously more rules and regulations are not the answer! We have received many ideas including your stories about concert attending experiences. We want to keep hearing from you. Please keep them coming! We also need your thoughts on a new name! If we continue forward with promoting concert safety awareness, we need a name that more suites that mission. There are now links up and some news updates. In the following weeks it will continue to grow, so check back often. Here we ask that you write letters requesting that a full and impartial investigation take place, so that we may all learn what really happened and learn what could have been done differently! Last week was a busy week, we spent the majority of the week talking with people: From banks, lawyers and other helpful people. We first had to determine how we were going to set this up, and all the legal hassles involved. It now looks like we have a way to set it up, so that is good progress. This week are trying to locate and contact those that were injured. This is another great task. As soon as we can locate and determine what we can do to help, then we will be able to form the next game plan. We will keep you all informed.
