TenClub.net:
November has come and is almost gone and it's time for another update and yes I am in a better mood this time .... Our web site is in the final construction stage. Soon you can find us at: TenClub.net. We hope to have the TenClub.net site up and ready before Christmas.

If you e-mailed in the last week and have not heard back, don't fret. We power-processed membership/renewal orders all last week so the e-mail was a bit neglected. I'll be working to catch up and e-mail y'all back this week.

Bootlegging:
Note: If you are a fan club member and are caught selling boots you will be banished from the club forever.

New Member Cut Off Update:
We have just about finished up all the membership and renewal orders received in time for the cut off. Now before you dash off an e-mail to see if yours was processed, I'm going to ask really nice if you can wait a healthy couple of weeks for the confirmation letter to arrive before you panic. You remember last update... :) I would appreciate it.

Even if your membership date began after the cut off date you will still be on the mailing list for the single. All new members and renewals who have an expiration date between November 1-19 made it to us by the cut off date and will be guaranteed the 1999 single. Remember if your membership did not expire until after November 1, you will still receive a single.

Newsletter #15:
Finally, as we all breathe a collective sigh of relief (at least on our end we do ;), the newsletter is finished! If all goes well, it will be sent out on Monday, November 29. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding for the wait. We hope you will be as excited about it as we are.

Address Updates and Problems...Back Orders:
Everything is in stock at this time there are no back orders. Amazing!

We are compiling the mailing list for the newsletter and the Christmas singles. If you have recently moved, be sure to send us your address change so we can update your file.

In the past few months we have been getting quite a collection of membership items returned by the post office. We would like to make sure that you get all the mailings and orders in a timely fashion. Please check this list and if you are on it or know someone who is, please E-mail us at: TenClub1@aol.com with your address update.

Newsletter #15:
We have sent the newsletter to our trusted graphic designers and will hopefully have it out to you in the next two weeks. Please stop writing complaining that you didn't get the newsletter but Johnny across the street did. They haven't been mailed yet.

New Merchandise:
Look for new merchandise in the upcoming newsletter. If you are not a member but would like a catalogue you can e-mail us at TenClub1@aol.com with Catalogue in the subject box. Back orders: we're waiting on XL Sweatshirts and the new notebooks.

The Cut off date:
If you understood the September 17th update regarding the cut off date, please skip down to the next subject.

I have received about 1000 e-mails from people who are a little confused about the September 17th update. Here is an example of the common dilemma:

"If my membership is good till June of 2000 does that mean that I am okay and will still get the '99 single?"

Answer: Yes, you will get the single. No, you don't have to renew by November 1 unless you want to update your membership to June 2001.

Only members who have let their memberships expire or will expire BEFORE November 1 need to get renew for this year's single. If your membership is current from November 2 on - the update DOES NOT pertain to you.

November 1 just around the corner
After we go to the post office on November 1 we will separate any orders that arrive after that date. We will begin to process orders received after the cut off once all the orders received in time are processed. Orders received by the cut off date will be guaranteed the 1999 single and the #15 newsletter. Orders received after that date will receive the newsletter later this winter and may have a chance to get a single later in the new year as long as we have it in stock.

E-mail reminder
I read over 150 mails a day and with the all the new info and cut off that number is increasing every day. Please be clear when e-mailing, include all important information, i.e., name, address, request and if there is previous correspondence it is helpful if you copy that. I try to answer all your letters in a timely fashion; the more information you provide in your letters the faster you will get a response.

Please do not e-mail questions about the band, their personal habits, their new album, what happened to Jack, C Average, the Who, Ed's haircolour etc. You can find all the available information on the Rumor Pit page:

September 17, 1999 Address Changes:
It's back to school time again and we've been getting a lot of address changes! We love those, that way we can be sure you don't miss out on any cool stuff. So if you're moving or have just moved, please e-mail us your new address and please include your full name, previous address, and member number if you know it. Send it to us at TenClub1@aol.com.

Back Order Items:
We are currently waiting on a back order of Sweatshirts size: XL I guess that there is a shortage since they don't make as many in the summer....anyhoo if your order includes an XL sweatshirt, we still have it. They are due in next week, mid week after at the latest. We will send all orders out on their arrival.

Newsletters, newsletters, newsletters: 
I know, I know... we had hoped to have the newsletter #15 out and in your homes by now but sadly we have been waiting for the PJ boys to finish up their contributions. They've been slaving in the studio so we didn't want to push 'em. We figured you wouldn't mind waiting for a newsletter that had stuff from the band rather than our own thoughts and commentaries.

Christmas Single, New Member and Renewal Cut-off Date Set!
Well it's getting close to that time of year again! Some of you may remember that last year we had a few problems processing all the memberships we received in time for the single cut-off date. It's a safe bet that we'll be flooded with membership orders again this year. In order to avoid any problems or confusion we are setting up a STRICT cut-off date. Since we cannot be responsible for the US Post office, we will not have a postmark cut-off date. Instead, your membership fee must actually, physically, literally, without exception, be in our hands by November 1. On November 2 all membership/renewal orders will be placed on hold until we can process all the orders received by the cut-off. We will try to get renewal reminders out to all of you that expired but feel free to write in and check on your membership status. E-mail us at TenClub1@aol.com.

New Members:
If you are thinking of joining the Ten Club and want to in time to receive the 1999 Christmas single, your membership order must be in our hands, NOT POST MARKED, by November 1, 1999. Any membership orders received after that date will be held and processed after the Christmas rush.

If your membership has expired or will expire before November 1, you must renew your membership to be eligible for the 1999 single.  Due to several problems we have had with members reselling Ten Club merchandise on the world wide web, we are issuing a new buying policy. 

There will now be a limit of up to 5 of each poster, Place/Date Books and other member-only merchandise for the duration of your membership. This limit is to restrict the resale of our merchandise and prohibit the unauthorized resale on any Internet auction or like website. 

In the past we have revoked membership for over priced selling of Ten Club goods on eBay. We will continue to do this should it come to our attention that a member is participating in unauthorized overpriced resales. 

Confirmation letters

 We have temporarily run out of our confirmation letters and are in the process of having new ones designed and printed. If you placed a membership or renewal order in the last two months you will not have received confirmation yet. We will send them out as soon as we get them in.  Hi Folks, 

As much as we would like to provide the same ticket services to our members as we do on PJ tours, we can't. The Bridge benefit is not a Pearl Jam show and since all proceeds go to the School itself, we cannot offer any kind of ticket sales through the club. PJ is just one of many bands playing the two day benefit. For more info you can go to the Bridge School web site: http://www.bridgeschool.org/ 

Kids Tee Shirt Size problems

 OK guys, the kid's tee shirt comes in Kid's sizes which is why we are call it the Kids Tee. So for all you big guys and gals out there thinking you'll get an XL, do not order this shirt, the XL is an adult's small not a regular X-tra large. 

Also on the same subject if you ordered a Small we have temporarily run out and are waiting on a back order. We have had to make new ones so hopefully we will have them in the next two weeks. 

Newsletter #15

 We are currently working on the next newsletter be sure to send all address changes if necessary before September 20 or your newsletter will be sent to your previous address. Also note if you forget to change your address with us the newsletter is sent bulk and not always forwarded. We end up spending a lot of money on resends for this reason and would like to continue to keep membership prices at $10 so please keep us updated on your whereabouts. 

Look for new merchandise in the next newsletter and exciting news on the Ten Club's further expansion on the World Wide Web.
