|
Toshinobu Kubota's million-selling popularity in Japan in the '80s couldn't satisfy his desire to make it in America, so he moved his base of production here in 1989 and has never looked back. In collaboration with everyone from Bootsy Collins, Vernon Reid, and George Clinton to Caron Wheeler of Soul II Soul and the Amnesty International organization, Kubota has succeeded in becoming a familiar figure on TV, radio, and at the House Of Blues clubs.
