  The lifestyle of twenty-somethings in the 1990s received a sympathetic exploratory look in Singles, a warm-hearted music film set in Seattle which benefitted from the onscreen presence of superstar rockers Pearl Jam, posing as the alternative band Citizen Dick. Along with other groups like Alice In Chains and Soundgarden, they also provided the exciting soundtrack, dominated by the song "State Of Love And Trust," which echoed the moods of the film while giving it a strong, recognizable musical feel.
