More Than A Feeling
  Both in its time and for a long time after, Boston's debut album was the biggest one in pop music history. Boston's sound--an imposing mix of high-tech, multi-layered instrumental sheen (courtesy of guitarist-producer Scholz) and soaring vocals (courtesy of Brad Delp)--helped define the term "arena rock." Ironically, that stadium-ready sound was crafted by Scholz, an MIT engineer/inventor in a homemade, basement recording studio. Go figure.
