Awards are flying in for 22-year-old Bic Runga's Drive, the first album by a native New Zealander of Malaysian ancestry ever to hit quadruple-platinum at home. Self-produced (and guided by legendary producer/manager, now Sony Music executive Peter Asher), it generated seven NZ Music Awards including Album of the Year, Single of the Year (for "Sway"), Best Female Vocalist, and Best Songwriter.
