+ DIXIE CHICKS Big Hit On NBC
The Dixie Chicks energized NBC's Monday lineup, delivering the networks
highest 18-49 rating on Mondays at 8PM in nearly 21 months with their
first television special, 'The Dixie Chicks in Concert: On the Fly'.
The Chicks special attracted a 4.9 rating, 12 share among adults 18-49
and 7.6/11 in households, according to preliminary 'fast affiliated'
Nielsens. Excluding the Olympics, it's NBC's best 18-49 average in the
hour since Feb. 22, 1999. Compared with the most recent 'Dateline NBC'
at that time, Dixie Chicks was up by 53 percent among adults 18-49.
Their highly successful tour wraps up with a homecoming concert at
Ft. Worth Convention Center arena.

Billy Gilman is country's top selling artist this week with two albums in
the Top 10 of the Country Albums Chart. Billy's Epic Records debut disc
'One Voice' is No. 4 on the Country Albums Chart with his Christmas CD

Billy demonstrated the real spirit of Thanksgiving this week when he helped
the Salvation Army kick off their 'National Kettle Campaign' during the
Dallas vs. Minnesota half-time show on FOX delivering a stirring performance
of hit single, 'One Voice.' The twelve-year-old platinum-plus artist then
headed from Dallas to Disney to tape 'Twas The Night Before Christmas',
the Walt Disney World Christmas special, which will air on ABC Christmas Eve.
