Investigative Journalist Trevor Aaronson Hosts New Season of “Chameleon” Exploring an FBI Investigation Into a Las Vegas Money Laundering Conspiracy

First Two Episodes Are Available Now; Subscribe on Apple Podcasts For Early Access and Ad-Free Listening

New York, NY – June 15, 2021 – Campside Media, in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, today premiered its new season of hit investigative podcast series “Chameleon” with the debut of “Chameleon: High Rollers,” a stranger-than-fiction tale of a two-year FBI undercover sting in Las Vegas that went bust, with no one convicted of crimes.

Hosted by investigative journalist Trevor Aaronson — author of the ‘The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI’s Manufactured War on Terrorism’ — “Chameleon: High Rollers” is a shocking thriller set in “Sin City”, where fortunes are made and lost, that raises questions of FBI corruption. The first two episodes are available now.

The ten-episode series takes listeners behind the scenes of one of the strangest FBI cases you’ve never heard about, demonstrating the enormous power of the FBI and their abuses of power. The action follows two brothers, Emile and Gus, who are at the heart of the story. More than twenty hours of secret FBI recordings, along with interviews with a retired FBI agent who examined the case, put the listener in the middle of the action. Similar to season one of “Chameleon, “High Rollers” is all about people who pretend to be anything and everything other than who they truly are.

“‘Chameleon: High Rollers’ is a tragic dark comedy,” said Aaronson. “An undercover agent and an informant, posing as shady businessmen, offer money-laundering opportunities to diet clinic owners, aestheticians, a real estate agent, even a guy who sold erectile-dysfunction remedies. But the entire FBI sting goes off the rails, and no one is convicted of crimes. This podcast explores what happened and why.”

“Chameleon: High Rollers” is executive produced by Vanessa Grigoriadis and Adam Hoff at Campside Media.

Listeners can subscribe to “Chameleon: High Rollers” on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher. Subscribers on Apple Podcasts can access new episodes one week early, get exclusive bonus content and listen ad-free.
