The new joint venture will focus solely on English-language repertoire artists from Israel 

New joint venture is the first Sony Music imprint dedicated to Israeli talent 

Berlin, 28 October 2022 – Sony Music Entertainment Continental Europe and Africa has today announced it has entered into a new joint venture agreement with management and record label ONEWAY. Records, to discover and develop new artists from Israel with international appeal. The new joint venture will focus on discovering and signing artists with English-language repertoire, and leverage Sony Music’s global reach and extensive experience to showcase artists to audiences around the world.   

ONEWAY. Records is founded by music executives and brothers, Josh and Sam Fluxgold. The two are former managers of Dennis Lloyd, discovering the Israeli singer and songwriter in 2017 and enjoying historic international success for the Israeli artist with over two billion streams, various Platinum and Gold records across several markets and multiple sold-out world tours across US, Europe and Australia. 

“Josh and Sam have a proven track record for breaking Israeli talent abroad,” said Daniel Lieberberg, President of Sony Music Entertainment Continental Europe and Africa. “We are excited to work with them to discover the next wave of international artists from the country.”
