Monday 25th September – Sony Music Entertainment has announced its smash-hit interview podcast Out To Lunch will be returning with a brand-new host at the helm, the much-loved British comedy actor Ade Edmondson. The new series will launch on Tuesday 3rd October.

After breaking into the comedy circuit in the 1980s, Edmondson has starred in countless films and TV shows, including The Young Ones, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rain Dogs and several projects alongside his wife, Jennifer Saunders. 

While he’s a whizz in the kitchen, having won Celebrity MasterChef and ‘star baker’ in The Great Sports Relief Bake Off, Edmondson will leave the cooking to the professionals in this podcast…

Throughout Out To Lunch, Ade will be taking guests from Ed Byrne, Chrissie Hynde and Reece Shearsmith, to Bridget Christie, Daisy Haggard, Nigel Planer and Tony Visconti to a restaurant of his choosing.

Listeners will have a ring-side seat to some crackling anecdotes and enlightening conversations, as Ade and his guests discuss topics close to their hearts over some delightful dishes. Subscribers will also get the chance to hear Ade’s guest’s top five places to dine and what they chose from the menu.

There’s no better vehicle for open, engaging chat than a good meal, and this podcast is proof.
