Mobile Assets Will Be Added to PlayPhone’s Premium Mobile Content Network, Including Wal-Mart Mobile

April 1, 2008 Tuesday 5:03 AM GMT — CTIA WIRELESS — PlayPhone has announced that it will be adding SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT’s catalog of mobile entertainment assets to its network including truetone ringtones, games, voice tones and images from the superstar artists included on SONY BMG’s vast rosters. The premium SONY BMG content will be distributed across PlayPhone.com and its wide array of distribution channels that reach consumers online, on the go, at retail and everywhere in between.

This adds to PlayPhone’s extensive current content catalog, which offers more new and exclusive content for consumers than any other provider. PlayPhone will also have the ability to extend the availability of SONY BMG mobile content to its broad array of distribution partners and channels.
